The Plan,

Hello all!

   I’m shocked on how much feedback I got back from y’all from my first post! (You must like crazy ;)) So...I guess I have some unsaid business to take care of...

   First, I’ll tell you about a little about me! I’m Melody Joy Chambers. I’ve lived for 20 years in a town close to Houston, Texas. I really want to travel- being in the same place forever -does that to a girl. I’m a professional photographer. Samples of my photography:

   I love to read! (Mostly of different countries) Cooking is only fun when there’s chocolate involved. I have one little sister (Who you already know), my mom (Oh yeah, you already know about her) and I’m now living in my late Grandma Ruby’s old mansion (Ahha! You don’t know why! (I win))

   Now, on to my plan! You know I love to travel, but I want to learn even more about the countries (Like what it’s like living there), so I’m going to host, for two years, eight different girls from my top eight places to visit (Oh, and my little sis’ too).

   I know, I know, you think I’m biting off more than I can chew. Well, take a number. My mother has already said her opinion. And I quote “Melody Joy Chambers, are you insane!?” But before letting me answer she moves on, “You barely got along with Lyric, and you want to have eight of her plus her in one house!? Have you talked to your grandmother about this? It’s her house, Melody” To which I reply: “Yes, of course mother. Grammy loved the idea. Plus Paige will be helping me” Sure, let’s open another can of worms, Melody!

   See, Paige is my best friend. (We’ve know each other since we were in Pre-K.) When we were about seven, I talked Paige into playing soccer (or football as I called it)- inside the house –long story short, the ball hit mother’s favorite vase, and Paige wasn’t allowed to come over for a month. I’ve told Paige all about my plan. She really doesn’t want to travel, but she thought it would be fun to help me. You know, after I begged her.

  

   Back to my plan, I want all the girls to blog on here. So, the countries I’m looking for are:

England

Canada,

Germany,

Russia,

Italy,

Australia,

Argentina,

France.

   I’ll have girls from these different countries send in a picture of themselves, their answers to my questions, like: age, name, where you’re from, etc. and a guardian’s signature on the legal documents, plus the ‘adoption’ fee. (I mean, they’re staying with me for two years! Eight girls eat a lot!)

   I have friends (Thanks to the Internet!) in these countries who have posted the ads for ‘coming to the states’.

   They will all come out (from their home countries) during the first week of the New Year, and I will pick them up at the airport.

   Rooming is the only part I don’t have figured out yet; one girl will have to share a bedroom with one or more girls.

   So, that’s my master plan! I already have the ads in place (for a month now). Just waiting on some bites!
